DRDO approves Ace's SL-14 laminates
Ace Security Laminates India proudly announces Defence Research Development Organization’s successful blast evaluation test of SL-14 laminate. DRDO blasted 23 kgs of TNT from 9 and five meters.
The explosion shattered the glass but failed to penetrate SL-14 pasted on the rear side of the test glass. The team of scientists led by Mr Harbans Lal, Group Director, TBRL (Terminal Ballistic Research Laboratory, Chandigarh, has given its approval for the product.
TBRL will also shortly produce its report on ballistic tests of SL-14.
